Who we are

Shalini Lahoty DentaCare is a Public Health Dental Hygiene (PHDH) practice providing on-site dental preventive services to schools and other institutions in the Boston area.

DentaCare was founded by Shalini Lahoty, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and a licensed PHDH. Shalini has extensive experience working as a hygienist in private dental practices and Office of Oral Health, Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Face Paint Before pursuing a career in dental hygiene, Shalini was a French teacher and can also converse in Spanish, Creole and Hindi to establish an instant rapport with students and put them at ease.

Shalini also has a Master's degree in Economics. She enjoys listening to music, traveling, entertaining and is an avid foodie. She is a proud Bostonian, living with her husband and two grown children.
